The challenge of creating an innovative website

A story of bravery and uncertainty in content marketing.

Regretably, my postings have been scarce the last couple of months.

That’s because I have been innovating, which is risky business.

Just about everyone thinks innovating is a great thing. But, getting it right is tricky. And, it is time-consuming even when you don’t get it right.

Portrait of the innovator as an old man, or vice versa.

An innovator has to be smart, even if it’s not in the traditional sense. But, successful innovators also have to deal with an unpredictable array of circumstances, as well as cultural and physical forces that are impossible to understand. Even when all of those things converge perfectly, innovators still stumble repeatedly and must persevere against all odds before breaking through.

So, it IS innovative! But, is it substantive? Will it work? Will potential clients follow the breadcrumbs and ask me to help them innovate? I have no idea, but I’m about to find out.

But, if you want more of my analysis and opinion, say nice things. I’m determined to devise an innovative website but would rather get back to blogging.
